How G2O’s Graphene Membranes Work

G2O coats existing polymer membranes with graphene oxide in a proprietary process. This results in

  • The creation of a hydrophilic surface
  • The spacing between the graphene oxide platelets act as a natural filter
  • Hydrophilic channels between the platelets create a nano capillary effect speeding up water transfer from the top to bottom
  • The roughness in the underlying membrane is transmitted through the graphene layer creating a super oleophobic surface
